Grill and Head light bezel US spec or not?

This is my newly acquired 83 FJ60. A fellow mudder was over this weekend and said that the all chrome grill/bezel was not normal for US models. also, I have no headlight washer system and it appears that there is no mounting holes for the washer, so I assume it never had them. Maybe Canadian truck? You guys have any idea? (I know that the mirrors are after market 62 mirrors)

My '84 headlight & grill were chrome, those look like the PO bought new parts for the 60.

Headlight washers weren't included until 84. The plastic parts could have been coated aftermarket or painted by the PO. Side mirrors are from a 62, but other than that, all is completely normal for an 83.

In a HJ61 if you wash the windscreen with the lights on, then the lights get washed automaticly.

i think there are 3 color combos for the headlight bezel on a FJ60 (depending on year)... I think the all "chrome" is the first version, then one with a gray paint in the recesses, then one with more paint..
