I just bought my first LC 80 series! I plan to keep it for a very long time.

Do any of you know a good Toyota mechanic in the Little Rock area? I do most work myself but want to have the motor compression tested before I begin tearing it apart.

Also, Pick n Pull doesn't have Toyota trucks or SUVs. Does anyone know of any Arkansas junk yards that have LC and or Tacomas?

Thanks!

Welcome to RLC fellow Little Rockian!

Bobby at the Cruiser Co. or Bryant at Rock City 4x4 or Donnie's Foreign Car are probably your best choices for independent shops.

You can also try to get in touch with Greg (fj80greg on this forum) or Drew at Landers Toyota. They are techs there and both drive 80 series cruisers.

The Pick-N-Pulls get 3rd gen 4runners and pickups from time to time. You just have to watch the website regularly. Sometimes there's even an 80 series that rolls through. There isn't a specific yard around here though for just Toyotas. I still don't know where all of them go when they die...

Welcome- I'll vouch for Bobby at the Cruiser Company...good work and reasonable...

Welcome sir. Bobby @ The Cruiser Co. Is the man. Don't wear nice pants when you go visit, and I hope you like big playful dogs. I like to go drool over his inventory from time to time.

Last 80 I saw in a yard was @ 4 yrs ago. You Pull It out baseline.

Paint booth?

Great information here. It is much appreciated!

One more question...

I painted my last project BMW in my old detached garage. It was quite the ordeal and work but it turned out pretty darn decent. At my current house, I have room to do prep work and spray smaller pieces, but not the color and clear.

Has anyone ever rented a paint booth in central Arkansas or know of any body shops that rent their booths?
