Hi everyone! I'm VegasGeorge, a member of 702FJCrew.net in Las Vegas, NV. We're an off road trail club of FJ Cruiser owners and enthusiasts. Last Sunday I took BionicCruiser's father-in-law, Bob, for a 6 hour run through the desert and a mountain pass just East of Las Vegas. Bob is my friend and neighbor. We had nine FJs on the run and everyone had a great time. We're not a rock climbing club, and we try to keep the technical aspects of our runs at a moderate level. Nevertheless, we had one FJ hung up requiring high lift help, and a couple of very challenging climbs and descents.

When we got home, Bob told me about your group, and gave me the links for your website and this forum. I just wanted to drop in to say "Hi," and invite any of you who happen to come to Las Vegas to join us in a local run. You can always see what's on the agenda by checking the Upcoming Events topic on our forum. No special arrangement is necessary. Just show up at the appointed time and place.

Sounds great. There are several FJ owners from here in Abq on this site and on the FJCruisers forum.

Some routes up in the Sangre de Cristo's would be nice.

howdy VegasGeorge! Bob told me all about the run he went on with you. he's been out a few times with me and our club here before too. i looked over your site and forums too. there's more trails close by around there than i thought would be. our local runs are very similar to yours. we have to go a bit farther to find tougher stuff too.

when i'm out there visiting the in-laws, i'll try to get on a run with you all.

Shawn - Thanks for the reply. It would be great to take both you and Bob on one of our runs. If you don't have your off road vehicle with you, I'll see about getting you into an empty front seat in one of our member's FJ.

PS: I'm trying to get Bob interested in buying an FJ of his own. Any encouragement from your end would be a help.
