Hey Rob, I've been to Green Mesquite many a time. That joint has been around for at least 25 years. Good BBQ, and they have some pretty decent brews on tap too.

Remember my nephew Dave in Victoria? He just bought a sweet 100 in Seattle and had Radd swap out the timing belt. Dave asked what happened to you. I told him you were retired and spent all your time traveling around the world...sampling international beers. :D

Speaking of beer, you coming to Katemcy in 2010? Hope to see you there.

Hey Lee, Dave did call me and asked if I would do the timing belt, I sent him in Johns direction at Radd Cruisers.

That looks like some darn good barbie....

Yep - great bbq place.. Rob - you going to go to roundup this year?

Im trying to figure out how I can make it happen, Nick Stone has already offered up his hospitality, hard to say no to that.

I wear your t-shirt almost every second day and use the silverwear at work to eat my lunch.

Thanks
Rob

My grandmother used to be a waitress there when it was called Jerry Jacobs BBQ. This was back in the '60's. I can't remember when the place was sold and the name changed, it had to be around the la te '70's. I used have the run of the place when I was a kid. There was no where near the people around then than what there is now!!! Kinda wish Austin was still small like that still. But you know how progress is...

Rob,

Your also welcome to Fly into Austin, and can ride to round up with one of us, Iam sure we can find a cruiser for you to drive, and fresh t-shirt! :D
