Its taken about 7 years but finally bought a vehicle that was designed to tow. I've always made it, even with my FWD sleighs through mounds of powder filled roads. Just nice doing it a little more laid back without so much concern for getting stuck.

So i'll start with my first, this was AWD this Corolla

My second, first Hybrid

My third, second Hybrid

My current ride, bare in mind that its a weird AWD on the Hybrid so still mainly FWD

With the LC now, the Highlander has been retired to lighter duty

This is better

So did you just pick this LC up? If so were did you find all that fresh snow in July, I wanna head there!!

Nice progression of vehicles, how did the psuedo AWD of the Highlander Hybrid perform in the snow?

The Highlander in snow from a dead stop is basically FWD. Unless it can detect forward motion then it kicks in the rear drive motor. I generally don't have an issue unless it's shear ice underneath or more than 2 feet deep with snow. Mine has a TRAC off button so I make full use of that. Without that button it would essentially not go anywhere. Pictures taken end of March with the LC. Got it on the road in Feb. Thirsty rig with a trailer full of sleds but better in the long run not wearing out my Highlander.
