I need a little help. My GPS DVD drive died about 4 months ago. After checking this site there is/was a place in Weymouth, MA on 288 Washington Street called Audio & Video Service Stop, that would repair the DVD drive for $400. I contacted them about 2 months ago and they said they can fix my DVD drive. Unfortunately last week when I was ready to bring the DVD down to them, there website was down www.videoservicestop.com and there phone isn't working (781) 337-6800. So, does anybody know if there are any other shops able to repair dead GPS DVD drives?
Thanks Doug

My advice, start watching eBay. You can pickup a working drive on there for much less than $400. Just make sure it's from the same model year as your own (i.e. same generation navigation).
