Well, 2 1/2 MONTHS after the close of the auction I FINALLY get the notice that I can go pick up the stuff I bought, and they charged me for, those 2 1/2 long months ago. I bought one M101A1, one M101A1 cargo box only, and one of those 1.5 ton ammo trailers.

Apparently if you are buying something from govliquidation.com you better be prepared to wait a LONG time before you can go get it. At least if it's Demil Q items.

well that sux, any explaination about the delay?

On their site it says it can take "up to" 60 days to get the EUC approved by the DOD, but I'm pretty sure GL drags their feet. Twice I got impatient about certain matters and called and by the next day the issue was resolved. In the second case it was about the EUC taking so long. I called and got the spiel about the length of time and then the girl on the phones does a back step and says "oh, it looks like it came back. Call back if you haven't heard by the end of the week". The next day I got an email that said good to go, I could go get my stuff.

I think it was Squeaky Wheel situation. I talked to the site administrator running the show where I bought my stuff and he said they had had some problems with certain people at GL and that they were no longer gainfully employed.

My experience is similar. Couple months for approved EUC seems normal. The good news is now that your EUC is approved, future purchases will turnover much quicker.

Went and picked up my stuff today and it was much easier than I expected. The website leads you to believe that you are more or less on your own when it comes to loading, and I was prepared for that, but the staff there loaded me up in nothing flat. The one trailer I towed they guy hooked up for me and the other stuff he loaded onto my other trailer with a tow motor. Piece of cake.

The 101 is in excellent condition. I also bought one of those "little" 1.5 ton ammo trailers and boy what a surprise that thing was. That thing is a BEAST. Much bigger and heavier than I expected. It's a good 1000 - 1300@ heavier than the 101. I seriously misjudged it and I'm not exactly sure what to do with it now. The 101 you can pick up by the tongue and move it about but the ammo trailer takes WAY more ass than I can muster to pick up the tongue.

The guy at gov. liq. says he sells them mostly to people looking to haul firewood. I don't know about that but..what a freakin beast.

pix!!! that'd be sweet... lets see your score!

Could have swore I already posted some pics but apparently not. Anyway, I only have pics of the 101 at the moment. Here you go.

Thats cool. I just bought an M101A1 too.......to haul firewood, - and anything else. They are tought. The dump feature is awsome. Mine didnt have the wood sided extensions or bows. Wish it did

yep, it's hard to beat the price....I had to wait about 50 days for my first EUC.

I picked up a 101 and a 105 (the large ones to haul behind a deuce) I'm using the larger one to replace the bed on my one ton dump truck. The 101 is perfect for jobs around the cabin and the house and tows great behind the Tundra.

Congrats on your purchase. For others out there - I picked mine up for $200 for the 101 and $150 for the big one - plus you have to remember to add in 10% for the govt liq fees.

Dang that is nice... ahh geeze something else to add to the "list"

Thanks!!

Dan
