Gotta problem starting my '01 LX 470

and after checking the fuel pump (it's fine) went under the hood to see the relay panel.

My relay panel diagram is not legible any longer. Can anyone point me in the direction of the diagram?

I think half of your original post is missing. That being said, if you checked your fuel pump and it is operating, the relay works. If nobody else has of fuse panel diagram for you I might be able to get you one in a couple days when I get by my shop.

My pump was not coming on when the key was in the "on" position. So I took it out of the tank and powered it up and it worked fine.

THAT is what I meant be the pump was working.

I tried to check for codes and kept getting a Failure notice. Finally, it started.

I guess it was not reading the transponder.

Weird.

That is wierd, and the relay was a good next step. Did you go to the electrical connector at the pump and see if you are getting voltage at the connector when you cycle the key? If you do, that would test the relay and wiring to the connector all in one shot.
