got tube? group buy interest?

well...i was poking around for some 1.75x.125 tube and couldnt find much for a reasonable price...im going to need some tube for my truck and also for a side job im trying to finish up...the place i found with the best price (or so it seems to me) is in vancouver...

ERW about 3.50/ft
DOM about 4.40/ft

im pretty sure these will be in 20' lengths, i only want to be dealing FULL lengths.

those prices are for 1/8 wall tube...if anybody is interested i might run over and pick some up sometime in the near future...just trying to gauge interest and im pretty sure the more feet i buy the better the price will get so everybody wins. i might post up on the other boards (blackflag & island 4x4) if theres not enough here. IF i go over for the tube i will have to figure in $$ for the ferry and gas into the old mans work truck to pick the stuff up, those are just ballpark prices to gauge interest

i thought of kyle actually....i have heard he is a good guy but his track record on....delivery times has been a bit spotty on a few occasions (that i know of)...i want to be able to hop in the truck and go pick it up on a specific date and be done with it. no offence, and thanks for the heads up. i havnt dealt with him personally but from other peoples experience i just dont have time/energy to deal with delays and problems especially when if i am working with a group of people and not just my own time and money.

I have an account at Wilkinson Steel here in Vic, if you can get a order of around $250, I can just pick it up here....Im not sure of what its cost is /ft, but its usually better than anyone elses places..

Have you decided on starting a group buy? I'd recommend posting it on gotogroupbuy.com to see how many people we can get on board. If any of you guys already have a hook-up, maybe post it on the group buy site so everyone can join. At least we can figure out how many orders we can get together.
