Got Taser?

I got Taser'ed this afternoon, probably the second worst pain I have even been through. The first being my back surgery and only because it lasted more then 5 seconds. I know it goes without saying, and it won't be an issue for most folks but do what the nice officer says and don't "ride the lightning".

I think all officers have to have it used against them so they know how it feels. Thank goodness they don't do that with firearms .

Departmental certification. The "ride" is optional, but you can testify in court that you know what it feels like and knew what you were going to put the "poor defenseless" crackhead defendant that was attacking you through.

I love movies where a guy gets hit square in the nose and gets right back up. If someone broke my nose I would curl up and cry like a baby. I can't imagine what the taser feels like. My household 120 gets me cussing.

I've been bit a few times by 600-700 volts while working around power supplies in tube-type radio and man, does that ever hurt! I think the Taser has a max of close to 50,000 About twice the voltage coming out of your cruiser's distributor.

Just don't let em grab you while your tasing them. Couple of local guys tased a perp and he grabbed both of em and xhocked the p diddle piss out of them.

I'd rather be shot. I got shocked once by my HEI distributor on my 60. It knocked me to the ground and I lost feeling in my arms. I think the whole thing is sort of scary. I mean what if the guy has hearing problem and a heart condition and didn't respond correctly and got zapped permanently.
