My new truck finally got delivered to me today!

On xmas my 98 LC was totaled by a lady that ran a red light.

I was pretty upset bc of how long it took me to find a truck that was in decent shape. It had a very small amount of body rust, 246k, and no rips in the leather.

My replacement is an 01 LX with 197k. Came from a dealer in Detroit. It's more of a project than the LC was. It needs new auto dimming side mirrors, new driver side headlight housing, needs more rust repair than my old truck. The suspension was changed from air to springs by the PO, and the height had to be readjusted.

Lots of small things, but I'm super happy to have a 100 again!!!!!! Can it please start snowing again?

It has auto-dimming side mirrors? My parents had a 2005 LX and I don't think that even had it.

Is the mirror broken or did it do the shimmered out halo look?

I assume it does only because my Audi A4 had them and when hey went bad, the mirrors discolored the EXACT same way.

And the only reason I settled on a Detroit truck is because it was the only thing I could find with less than 200k that was an 01

If you need something temporarily (or permanently if you like) ebay may have just the glass with sticky tape you put right over the old one. I did that on my cracked Nissan suv and it works great.
