That is soo cool! Good bye paper drawings.

They have been saying that for decades now. Won't happen, the paper drawing is always needed some where in the design process. I produce 100's of them every year.

However, using a pencil to produce a drawing? Gone forever. But I still own a drafting table:D

Cool Cool. So in ur professional opinion, what is keeping Toyota from giving us a dvd we pop in the ps3 and can virtually assemble/dissassemble any machine their plants produce? That is simple sauce compared to your average ps3 video game title as far as pieces count goes...

No telling what position the Japanese Automotive engineers have on intellectual property. My guess is that they prefer that their customers pay the service mechanics to access that. Even if there's a small percentage of people that would actually want something like that (count me in).

And by the same token, the expense to produce it for sale is probably not worth the potential revenue.
