i've got a 1997 80-series, 40th edition, that i acquired about 18 months ago and have been slowly modifying to my needs, specs, budget -- guided by my LC svengalis: pbrstreetgang and hltopper.

in any case, what i've got, free to a good home, is:

- a nice clean set of 3rd row seats
- a nice clean set of running boards and mounts

what i'm looking for, as i prep for a month-long baja trip in december, is:

- spare set of used OEM shocks (one front, one back)
- spare set of used u-joints (one front, one back)

my stuff is in flagstaff, and would need to be picked up there (although i could conceivably deliver the seats; the running boards won't fit in my commuter...). i'm back and forth between flag and tucson on a regular basis, so could pick up at points in between.

I am replacing my u-joints while I have my axles out. You can have the old ones. I do not think there is anything wrong with them.

What color are the seats?

they are 2-tone... slate/gray on the outside/edges and cream/tan in the middle/center... i believe this was true of all of the 40th editions...
