Goose Lake

Hi everyone, my name is Justin and I will be heading up to northern NM later this week for a vacation.

I was just wanting to know if there is still a lot of snow on the ground up north and secondly if you guys think a mostly stock 100 series could make it up to goose lake if the road is open.

I have heard that the road in to goose lake can be pretty bad but then again I have been down some really bad roads here in AZ in the hundy.

I was up there at the end of May last year and got stopped in my tracks in a snow drift. With no snow your rig will have no problem getting up there. Its 10 or 11,000 feet so I would imagine there will be snow.

I'd like to camp up there but it's a tad too early for us unfortunately. It's on our agenda for this summer for sure.
