Google map collaboration for local wheeling spots

Here's a link to the wheeling map I've started for the Ft Rucker area. There are only a couple of spots I know of from last time I was here but I do plan to add as I go. Around here I know of nothing too serious for most of you hard cores or anything but with a little participation we could have a sweet map database with pics and vids to document and promote our local spots.

This could be a useful tool for those of us lower budget wheelers who have to actually drive our rigs to areas within a hundred miles or so of our home to do most of our wheeling.

So please add to the map, collaborate your own maps or just start some of your own. If you already have some just go ahead and post up links to it in this thread.

another idea that the forum might consider at a national level is "points of interest" on some of the GPS devices. I don't know how you add this data, but I have a Tom-Tom GO 720 and you can update it with points of interest of all different types across the web. Once could see the utility of having some type of reference to off-road trails as a point of interest. Of course everyone does not have have a brand name specific GPS but it's an idea.
