Is anyone currently running this tire or has run it in the past that has an opinion on how well it holds up?
Thanks.....

I'm on my 2nd set, love them! Really can't be beat if it snows where you live, I had planned on buying winter tires as well for my last truck but quickly found they weren't necessary. Quiet on the highway for a tire that looks this aggressive, wore well on my Hilux Surf, look great, etc. Lots of info if you search "duratrac".

Thank you....
I live in South Georgia where the last time it snowed ( 1/4" ) was in the early 90's.
Glad to hear they hold up well.

I've been running them studded as my winter tire on my full size pickup. I'm happy with them, but to be honest I bought a set of BF Goodrich KM2's, siped, for my summer tires on this same rig and I think they are better on icy roads than even the studded GoodYears and hands down better in deeper snow. The KM2's are quieter and have a better road feel. After just one summer on the KM2's (about 10,000 miles) they are showing some wear and the Goodyears show no wear with about the same amount of miles. There's a high pitched wine (about 10 db's on a sound meter) with the Goodyears that is really annoying and there's a funny little wiggle/sway in the ass end of the truck with the Goodyears even on dry pavement. If the KM2's were drilled for studs I would definitely be running them for my winter tires. Just my 2 cents.

I've got, nothing but praise for the Duratracs, ran them in the NW for 2 seasons on two rigs. Wear like iron, good in ice and rain.

I am looking at these for my next set on stock FJ60 rims in 31x10.5x15 and wondering if you guys find they crown a lot? I like the look of straight sidewall tires, not when the sidewalls bulge out past the tread.
