Good shelving solution that accommodates one large dog?

I plan on finally adding a shelf/platform system this spring. I am working on narrowing down my options. I figured the need to transport one large dog (somewhere other than the passenger seat) may serve to narrow my options further than any other requirement I can think of. Therefore, this is probably the best place to start my search.

Anyone have first-hand experience with a shelf system that works well with a dog? If not first hand experience, have you seen a shelving system that you thought may excel at accommodating a dog?

If further limitation is necessary, yes, I strongly prefer running a refrigerator and a bit of a cooking area.

Two drawers with cooking stuff, fridge one side on top, seperating wall and dog other side?!?

I guess some more guidance makes sense…
3rd row out, 2nd row out? Foldable 2nd?
What don’t you like with existing solutions?!
How many people beside the dog?

Hi, we do a bunch of dog-friendly systems. Here's an odd-ball one we did for a dual-large-kennel use case. 200 shown here, but 100 is similar. Of course, we also do a more typical kitchen + drawer set up that works well with all but the largest of kennels.

Happy to chat through options if you're looking to go the "buy once, cry once" route. :)

How large of a dog we're talking here? Because to some people Husky is large, but then there are actually large dogs like Caucasian Shepherd who weigh on average as much as a grown man, meaning they need as much space, hence no cage big enough to fit into the back of a LC.

Right, I am a bit confused too esp with regard to whether the back seat is an option or not. For instance, our dog (65#) just rides in the backseat of my truck with one of those Ruffwear hammock things most of the time, and I have a drawer system and fridge etc in the back back. I also have a Raingler cargo net between the back seats and front seats as a barrier.

Size of the large dog: 100 lbs

Third row definitely out, second row likely removed (may be nice to keep the single seat.

What’s wrong with current options? For all I know, nothing. I am starting my search later this week, beyond searching this site for a discussion of this topic from the dog angle. I floated this question after not finding anything. I’ll follow up with what I find. The example up thread looks sweet.

EDIT: what I had in mind was a drawer/platform that consumed most of the second row and all of the third row, with dog travel accommodations on the platform covering the second row area.
