Any of you guys that have been around me enough know I love horror movies.

After I hit up the bar at noon tomorrow i'll be going on a horror movie watching fest.

I need some recommendations.
Off the grid ones that not everyone has seen. So no Halloween, Nightmare on Elm street or anything like that. Let me know your favorite non main stream horror movie. I'm starting to get bored of the 100 I currently have

Children of the Corn is a classic.

Case 39 was kinda sketchy, saw it the other night.

The crazies is pretty good, but im not a harsh critic.

Anything directed by Rob Zombie will make you squirm a little. That is one twisted individual.

Already have all of those recommended on DVD's..... found some really obscure ones on the net that I pulled in.

Well it's halloween time again and i'll soon be turning my front yard to a graveyard and my house into a horror house.

Need some suggestions for scary movies again.
Nothing main stream and too big because I will have seen in 1000 times before.
No
Elm Street
Friday the 13th
Halloween etc.......

Just started "The Violent Kind" a few minutes ago.... has a little promise

Strangeland.

Evil Dead 2.

Own both

looking for suggestions for good ones that many haven't seen before.
Strangeland is a good suggestion because most don't even know it exits.

Human Centipede.

Your welcome.

:)

Got that in my netflix que.... is it really that good???

Most likely watching it tomorrow or tonight even.

A local old theater in NoDa is playing old horror movies all october..... yay

I have not watched it. I watched the trailer and that was enough for me. It's pretty twisted.

Let me know what you think.

Check out all the old Italian films by Lucio Fulci and Dario Argento. Don't expect a plausible plot (or any plot), but you will get gore and some excellent filming! Fulic knew how to shoot nightmarish scenes and Argento had some cool filming effects going on. You probably already know this though. Suspiria, Zombie, The Beyond, etc, etc.

Wow - the trailer alone is disturbing. Doesn't look scary, just wicked twisted. I'm going to pass on this flick!

Seen a few Argento pics and a few Fulci pics, will check some out again as it has been a while.

Have to wait a few days for the centipede going to watch the classic wolfman at the old neighborhood theater for free.

Just watched the trailer.... all I can say is sign me up for the middle of that baby :grinpimp:

Watched a ton of scary movies this week, campy, gorey, mainstream it was all good.

Still haven't gotten around to the centipede because Andrea says it looks dumb.... oh well she is going out tonight so i'll just get some vodka, turn the lights off and watch it myself.

Haven't seen or heard of The Dead, trying to find a trailer for it.
