I stripped all the paint off my hardtop and I tried cleaning the window gaskets/seals but I cant get the old paint off. Does anyone know of a good black paint that I could use?

I tried acetone and just about every other solvent. I wish I knew what kind of paint is on there so I could repaint them.....I know it doesnt come off.

Thanks and youre right. By the time I paint all of them it would probably be just as easy to replace them all. Just trying to find an easy way out of buying more stuff..I should know better by now

I don't know if this will help.... but on the 1986 crx si, there was a painted rubber "tail fin". the tail fin was about as flexible as a nerf football. I was always fascinated in how you could squeeze it and the paint would just flex.. I have no idea what it was painted with.
