I have a few of the green metal "NATO" cans. They work great! but after a few years i have spots where they have worn through the green "paint" or enamel or whatever on the outside. Any suggestions of what to paint them with to prevent rust? I know i could just hit them with rustolium every few years like i do my sliders and what not. But is there anything nicer or anything that would match the green color?
