First post to the 100 series forum. Insert your welcome to the forum flipping me the bird emoticon here. Actually, I'll beat you to it.
Had my '98 100 series for about year now. Engine light came on after moving (back) to Oregon. Being new to the area I searched for the most reputable shop. Thanks 'Mud 60 series forum. They were booked out a month so they recommended Duncan Automotive in Banks, OR (west of Portland) - closer to me anyway. Called Robert, brought it in, scanned the code - throttle body. Robert said it usually just needs a cleaning. Easy. Showed me how to do it and everything. No more engine light. Charged me 40 bucks, I paid him 50. I'll be back. Cheers to Duncan Automotive!
Now you know where to take your Cruiser when you live in Forest Grove, Cornelius, Hillsboro, Nehalem etc.
