My bro is thinking about ripping out his AHC setup and going conventional suspension. Parts are going to be ordered, however can anyone recommend a good shop that knows our vehicles well that can perform this service for a decent price? I'd prefer experience as the number one asset.

Is there one in particular that knows the AHC system well on the LX's?
I used a guy in Canoga/West Hills, he worked on my 99 LX470 after it was out of warranty. He is fantastic. Will pick it up and drop a loaner to you, which is a nice little service. PM me if ya want his number.
He also worked on my 03 Land Cruiser up until the day I moved to Chicago...

I use Steve Lam at RPM auto center. He has a LX470 he wheels with so he is real familiar with cruisers. They are in Irwindale.

Anyone have any recommendations in West LA specifically? Getting to RPM Autocenter on the far east side would be a 2.5 hr drive for me with traffic. All the shops in the valley aren't that much better. I hear Dirty Parts in Culver city is good but expensive.
I need to get my 90k done and get my front brakes swapped out. KH Import wanted $900 to do the timing belt just labor. I got all my parts from CDan. For $900, I suspect that the dealer could do it for that much.
