Anybody have a good tie down solution for the inside of the 60s cargo area? I know about the cargo barriers, but those are pricey and I would still like to be able to tie stuff down. I though about using these "Mac's Custom Tie-Downs" or the "Ring Products StrapRings". Any other ideas or solutions?

Eye Bolts through the floor with a big flat plate on the bottom seems to work for me.
Double nutted and look out for the fuel tank!!!

Eye bolts from the local Hardware store (Boat store has stainless) are about 1.50 couple of big gal square washers 50c each. 2 bucks a corner. Cant go wrong!!

Isn't there a gas tank down there somewhere??

I have the ones labeled as "Mac's custom tie-downs", but I got mine from Ebay for $1 each (of course, I went nuts and bought about 20 of them). Look under ANCRA

Or you could just do what I did years ago....buy a sheet of 3/4 plywood and some brown carpet from the Home Depot. Cut the wood to fit in the rear cargo area and then lay out a grid of holes on the plywood and drill holes and put t-nuts on the back side. Then glue the carpet down and bolt down the 4 corners. That way you only have to drill for hoes into the body and have a whole grid of places to put the ibolts from the local hardware store....

It is more an issue of timing with mine if there is a fuel tank or not.
