Ready to install some 5.29s, and the cheapest around here is $250 per axle (buying gears and install kit from Cruiser Outfitters). Anyone better near Charlotte?

DIY my gears? I always assumed it took years of practice to be able to do it just right.
Thats why I also said a possible Hamom. They are pretty easy to do. But they are also easy to mess up. Cruiser ones are nice though that you can do them out of the truck. Try building them lying on your back on your driveway building a dodge one. I ended up taking the whole axle out from under the truck.
