Well... AC went out in the Ford after JUST replacing the power steering pump and a ton of other junk. SO, I'm in a delicate place. I dropped the "Well, if we had Japanese..." and the :princess: was kinda going for it.
So I already have an 80, so I don't need another on of those. She just wants a back row and rear air, and of course a v8. So my top three are LX-470 (pink panties for pink panties) 98+ Cruiser or 05+ Sequoia. Price is my real determining factor. 10k is going to be my realistic ceiling.
I'll be selling an Expedition/Navigator here pretty soon as long as :princess: stays on board. Wish me luck and let me know if you see anything. KingBees looks nice...

Just be aware that '99 was the first LC with rear air, '98 didn't have it (but LX's did). '01-'04 Sequoias also have rear air. No 5 speed though.

I believe the 98 LC had rear air if it had the third row seat option. Murf would know for sure.

I'm sure you know these don't come up in this price range all that often.

1999 Lexus LX470

1999 Lexus LX 470

The LX470 will not have a locker in the rear. Those had limited slip 98/99. Then in 2000 the locker/limited slip were gone in favor of traction control in both models.

Lockers are not as important in this rig. I have a fully locked rig already... This one will be bought mainly for reliability, comfort for the family and very mild trails. I have to get my other one sold, aka pried out of my wife's hands, first. I did see that one. It's nice, miles are a bit high, but in the running for sure.

So I shouldn't mention that I just sold my '99 yesterday.........

Good luck in your search.

Thanks. Yours was pretty perfect as far as what I'm looking for. I should be ready to move in a month or so. Depends on how long it takes me to get the truck in a condition where it can be sold. If you know my projects though... a year seems more realistic.
