Golden Retriever breeders in Texas

Just curious if anyone has any experience with any breeders in Texas that they might suggest.

Or really anywhere I don't like the idea of shipping a puppy but could be worth it

Not much help, but we were looking at getting a pair of Goldens from this place:

...until we found out that a pair runs about $7000. Yah, not happenin.

We're getting a couple of rescue dogs shipped in from Kentucky.

We may end up rescuing too, so far it's been all about the same the at least $2000 a pup. I understand the importance of investing in a good pup from a quality breeder but that may not be in our budget this time haha I would like to raise a pup so I can take him as a field dog or family friend!
