 to the NSCU team, fans, students and alum for knocking off Dook and Kazooooooskichefski tonight in the 1st round of the ACC tourney!!!!

I am not a State or a Duke fan, it's just nice to see the tables turned once in a while.

You'll be fine, the selection committee loves Duke no matter what...

Yeah, I'm real proud of my WolfPack (NCSU Engineering, '00). Looks like Sid is going to work out quite well. Give him a few years and it won't seem like such the upset when we beat Duke or Carowhina.

The WF - GT game was something else too. This goes to show the ACC is a great conference where emotion and heart can make a difference. Now we have to beat Virginia on fresh legs though, and that is not going to be easy! I miss the days of a Round Robin regular season and a tourney where there was only one "play-in" game.

I think Miami, VT, and BC have all given a lot to our conference in football, but have really diluted the ACC mentality that we, or at least I, loved so much during basketball season. Everybody had a shot at every team in the conference at home and away.

See you all Sunday....Hopefully I'll be celebrating an ACC championship and a card in the Big Dance (I can dream, right?)

All the games have been great so far, I only wish the tournament was in Greensboro this year.

I agree, Tampa is a bad place to hold the tourney. Tickets were on sale to the public for the first time since 1966.

Greensboro has the tradition. Charlotte is OK too. Here is the future schedule:

ACC tournament sites

2007 - Tampa, Fla.
2008 - Charlotte, N.C.
2009 - Atlanta, Ga.
2010 - Greensboro, N.C.
2011 - Greensboro, N.C.
2012 - Atlanta, Ga.
2013 - Greensboro, N.C.
2014 - Greensboro, N.C.
2015 - Greensboro, N.C.

What a comeback for the Pack on the Hoos. That really suprised me.

congrats...as a duke fan I am in mourning now and will wait our fate in the NCAA...

the dukies will be fine. they could go .500 for the season and still make the toonament. they will probably be a tougher team for struggling to get in. it'll make the players a little more hungry.

I gotta pull for the pack even though I am a dukie fan...hope they win tomorrow and don't have the carolina refs against them...sorry had to add that in there..:)

How bout I finally get to.....

watch the Pack in Reynolds!! Im currently a sophmore at NCSU and some buddies and I waited outside Reynolds for 8+ hours to get tickets to watch the Pack play Marist in the NIT game. Yeah, Im excited! So much fun to watch this year.:bounce:
