I just did a d60 14 bolt swap .. 4w Disk .. Ive looked all over and cant find a good bolt up for a larger master and booster..

is that because i dont need one? I have 76 fj 40 stock master/ booster.

do i need to upgrade.. ??

this is sweet!.. so this is a larger gm master that has an adapter to the toyota booster? its big and ugly. but if it works.. are there any other style options for masters to mount up?? cuz that thing is real ugly...:bang:

I'm running a mid-90's Chevy 3/4 ton pickup master. plastic reservoir, and the caps don't leak. Something like a 1995 C2500 if i recall right.

Hey Rich,

Any ideas on the bore size? I'm running 1.125" bore on my GM master now.

Charles

I used a 85 Supra master cylinder on mine. It will lock up my 39s on the street with no problem. Direct bolt up and no proportion valve needed because Supras had 4 wheel discs.

That sounds right.. It was that or a 1.25". I can go out and take a look, I think it's stamped on it somewhere.

Do keep in mind though, I'm running wilwood calipers, not GM stuff. The minitruck booster, however, is plenty to push the big GM master. :)

With juan tons?

Not worth it IMHO. Looks like a GM master cylinder.

I have a GM master. I bought the adapter to mount the master cylinder from Rockstomper and purchased a brand new GM master cylinder off of Amazon for around $50 shipped. Much less $ than this kit.

He is running LC axles. Supra master will not work with 1 tons. Supra master cylinder is 1" bore and does not push enough fluid for 1 tons.

Thanks for the clarification Charles. One source for hydroboost stuff is newer chevy 2500 trucks. HTH.
