GI: Anyone interested in a Man-a-fre 28 gallon fuel tank?

Hello,

My cruiser has a 28 gallon man-a-free fuel tank. I need to modify the floor slightly and this will likely get in the way and make it harder, plus I don't see a reason why I'd need this much fuel storage. If someone is interested in this please let me know. I'm up for trades, but not a straight trade for a used stock fuel tank.

First thing I guess is to see if someone is interested.

What kind of trades are you looking for?

Do you have pictures? I used to have some sort of fuel tank under the rear and turns out it won't fit in mine since I have an aqualu tub and they moved the support backwards.

It might be a long shot, but a factory style softtop would be nice. Possibly some seats with headrests if they look factory and are in nice condition.

I'm also fine with selling it, or partial trade partial sell. Things I'm looking for:
Factory roll bar, with seat belts
1 jump seat
Fiberglass hard top

If someone wants to get rid of a diesel engine I'd be happy with that trade

Obviously it all depends on condition, etc. but this should give you an idea of what I'm looking for.

I'll post some pictures soon.

It's in good condition, has some overspray on it from when the PO touched up the floor. Very slight bulge which I'm not sure if that's from the factory or not.

I'm not sure of a good price to sell it for because the $1000 price tag at man-a-fre seems high to me. I think $500 is fair if someone wants to just buy it.

Looks great but unfortunately it will interfere with my suspension seat... I thought you had the other kind that goes under the back.

I posted it on the main Classified section and got some interest from people in the US, however I've been told that bringing a gas tank that once had gas in it across the border not in a vehicle is a very bad idea!

I'm hoping someone around here may be interested.

do you still have the tank. I have some nice seats with headrest. Unsure what they came out of. They are not stock though.
