The new GDJ76 models for the Japanese market come equipped with two-leaf parabolic rear leaf springs from Toyota.
Since this option is not offered by Toyota for other markets, it was interesting to track down the exact part number.

Part numbers: 48210-60C30 (RH) and 48220-60220 (LH). When installing on a left-hand drive vehicle, the springs need to be swapped left to right.
The short U bolts 90117-14001 (170mm full length).

This might be useful for someone looking to retrofit them. These springs receive very positive feedback in Japan for their ride comfort.
Toyota engineers specifically recommend them for comfort, while noting that standard multi-leaf springs remain preferable for heavy load applications.

I've been curious about parabolics since the terrain tamer kit, seeing an OEM using them shows me that it's not just hype, but real engineering. Awesome!

I’ve ordered the rear parabolic Terrain Tamer leaf springs for my HZJ74. It was done for HZJ70/73, but I hope I can accommodate them with the OME bushings. Will see
