So far I've not been real happy with the front brakes on my 2000 4R. I went to ceramics thinking they would help on the CO mountain downhills - they're good once they get hot but overall unsat - especially since this is also a daily driver. Thinking of getting new slotted rotors and TRD pads. Looking for any experience with either.
THX:cheers:

There appear to be several options that guys are happy with..

is a decent discussion of the pros and cons of different set-ups.

My solution, which is working great for me, is the upgraded pad from Toyota along with good rotors (Bendix, US made).

Which brakes do you have? The 3rd Gen, at least Pre-99 had (2) different brake packages. If you have the 16" alloys, you likely have the "heavy duty" brake setup also, if you have 15" wheels stock then you have a weaker setup.
