Hey guys... Many of u know me, figuring out I have a Prado.... My questions are still relevant I hope and being part of this group for the New Year... I hope I can help you guys too,,,
1. When it was cold in the 20s, I couldn't shift into 1st.. Shoving it into scond and 3rd.. Eventually solved it... Is that my clutch plate and springs not releasing or is it a gearbox issue... In 2nd on a warm day it takes all my strenghth and it shutters to eventually let me go to 1st... Dealer wants to blame the clutch for 1200--- But I really want to rule out the gearbox 1st...
-- Power locks freeze and stop for the bck doors at mid 20s.. This is a LC... Happened to you guys too?
2. The turbo lag is insane.. Any options you all reccomend?
Anything you guys can tel me would be great. Im use to my old 1987 FJ62
