gear ratio question

sorry it was not for my landcruiser.. helping a buddy out with his vehicle and trying to figure out what gear ratio he has so i can find a rear for his rig.

all of the bolt heads sheared off of the carrier except one and it tore up the pinon gear..

yeah somone else told me 3:73 but i wanted to ask a few places just to see..

Just count the # of teeth on the ring gear and divide them into the # of teeth on the pinion gear.
Is there any numbers on the back side of the pinion gear?
 
isn't there a trick where you can mark the tire and mark the driveshaft, and count the number of times they go around?


that's a question?
 
Maybe 41 11 just means 4.11:1. Just a guess.
