GCLC Winter Meeting

The GCLC Winter Meeting will be on January 17, 2015
Little Beach Clubhouse on Erskine Lake, Ringwood, NJ

For the benefit of those who haven't attended one of these, the Little Beach Clubhouse is a privately owned meeting place with a fireplace, full kitchen facility, parking, etc. It is part of Officer Bob and Sheri’s lakeside community. Very scenic, very warm and cozy. We ask folks to bring whatever “specialty” item that they wish to cook. We try to stay clear of store-bought food items.

I just relocated from Texas to Connecticut (Shelton) for work this week. I'm living out of a Hotel until I can find a house to buy, but until then I need some help.

My land cruiser arrived yesterday and it looks like I've got a leaky radiator (not caused from the move). I have no garage or tools. Is there a local shop that is recommended?

I also tried to register an account (Skitz) on the Gotham City LC Website but it says I am waiting for approval from an Admin.

I would really appreciate any help!

OK, so we’re done with the holidaze, we’re done with family, and we’re ready to get back into the groove and our mundane existence that we call “real life”.

However, coming up on the 17th of January is a chance to temporarily shed reality, hang out with some nice people that are NOT related to you, and reinforce the extra pounds that you’ve put on recently.

I’m of course referring to the Gotham City Land Cruisers internationally famous Winter Meeting. It is an opportunity for newcomers to meet most of us face to face, to see and hear what we’re all about, to eat some amazing home prepared foods that will rival most restaurants, and to spend some time gawking at and talking about trucks and stuff.

What could be more fun than that? You don’t even have to be a GCLC member to attend and all are welcome. Yes, you can even bring extended family…if you feel you have to.
