Hi all, since this isn't an actual Toyota product, but could be if interest. I thought I'd ask you guys and gals if this is an idea that may or may not be of use on your rigs. This is a door MOLLE mount to allow placement of pouches, flashlights, cell phones, whatever on the doors, side panels or back gate area. Please let me know what ya think.

I think those would be very handy. The only concern I see would be when your rig is packed to the gills and your door pouches impact your stuff when you close the door. That could squash whatever is in the pouches. That concern is easily fixed by packing accordingly though.

Thanks for the input guys. Just working up some ideas for new products for the Yotas.

I've been thinking about making the same kind of thing myself for a while. I'd be interested in something to secure gear in the unused space from the ceiling of 40 inbetween the fiberglass and the rollcage. For my seats, i've been hanging a plate carrier on the backs to hold some extra gear. Keep the designs comming!

We make these sort of things in this large 2" wide web and also a tight weave 1" wide version; this what you are thinking?

neat idea, I like them

I like the cargo-net idea, but i was thinking something along the line with your roll-cage model. Maybe suspend a molle panel that runs the length and width of the ceiling, where the panel contours with a solid spine as close as possible to the ceiling. Something sturdy enough to suspend the weight of a carbine or shotgun, some MRE's, and a decent sized med-kit. This is just an idea, I'm not sure how this won't interfere with headroom...
If i get the time...I'll prob just build it myself and post up a pic.

Where can I find those bags? I have the Smittybilt seat cover that has those bags but no idea where I can get more.

Also, would be very interested in some 80 series solutions.

you can find them here too...

I'd think the one above on the rollcage overhead would work, but if you want solid spine, it would need to metal structure to attach to (cage bars etc.) The net is rated to 800 lbs and is extremely taught, you could certainly stand on it when tightened. The headroom you'd have to check out first, the net one will center at midline to the bars it mounted to.
