Hi all its been a while since I've posted but I am still around. I have a question about AZ legal requirements if I convert my 383 74 FJ40 to a diesel (either isuzu 4bd1t or Mercedes om617(300d) ) Do all I have to do is tell the emissions station that it is now diesel. When I put the 383 in and ever since then all I've had to do is pass the emissions level for 1974 vehicles. No visual inspection because it's a 1974 (or older). What do you all think or more impotantly know!. I guess I could just stop by the station tomorrow and find out but I hate going any where near THE MAN if I don't have to. LOL.
