I just bough a Rinnai Gas tankless water heater and was wondering if it is safe after you mount the isolater valve and popoff valve on the hot water outlet on the unit to just run cpvc from there to my other hot water pipes (All cpvc) I assume it is just wondering if anyone has firsthand experience?

I ran copper throughout the house, but thought about PEX. I'd call the manufacturer's tech line and see what they say. That line should never get above 140 degrees F so I can't see a problem with cpvc, but you never know.

I suggest the first several feet be copper- then CPVC or PEX or whatever you want.
