gas filler neck

Does our 200 have the "flap door" in the filler neck? I was filling up this morning and the pump kept shutting off on its own, tank was no where near full so I investigated the filler neck and to my surprise there was no flap / trap door that is usually on vehicles, just inside the filler neck - is this something I'm just now noticing or is mine broken?
