1993 FZJ80 1FZ engine and 4spd auto (A442) in good cosmetic and running condition.
I really don't want to sell it. We sold our FJ62 and upgraded to the 80 to get the 3rd row for 6+ passenger trips. It worked well for that, but my wife likes to travel on long trips with a god-awful amount of stuff. There just isn't enough space for her 3 bags of crap and her feet in the 80 series foot well. Despite my arguments, it comes down to fewer trips if she isn't happy about travelling. So, after putting time, money, and effort into doing PM and upgrading tires and shocks, I've got to let it go after only getting to put 3000 miles on it.
Here's the skinny:
215k. The PO owned it since 1994 with 10k. It was mostly driven by the wife. I have lots of dealer records including the orginal sales brochure and other sales paraphernalia. Short story, well maintained and easy miles.
Runs and drives great.
It's a head turner. (Neighbor dropped by when we broght it home and thought it was brand new -- obviously not a Land Cruiser person.)
Just replaced the valve cover gasket and brake master cylinder.
Factory front and rear lockers.
ARB front bull bar
New Rancho 9000XL adjustable shocks with 2400 miles on it.
New Hankook Dynapro ATm all terain shoes -- I like these tires and you only get them with a full price offer. 2400 miles still have the nubbins on the sidewall. The tires have a transferable lifetime of the tire hazard warranty: if a tire goes south that tire is replaced at no cost and the other 3 are replaced at a prorated rate based on remaining life of tires. Hazard covers offroad oopsies as well as on road.
Typical wear/breakdown of front leather seats, especially driver's. Covered with premium sheepskins.
Sony CD/DVD headunit, amp, upgraded speakers. Could use a sub and I've got a bracket for that.
Handful of random interior parts to help fully restore this cruiser, including some extra factory dash switches for CDL mod or accessories.
It's not perfect, but it's darned nice. Please give it a good home. $7000
