FZJ80 '96 Running Boards Removal

The front bracket on the running boards rusted through, so I need to remove them, but I can't get a 13mm ratchet as it's too tight. Any recommendations?

Whatever you do make sure to put the bolt or a bolt back in the threaded holes if they are open. Pretty sure this is what led to my rocker rotting out. Granted it took 15 years but why leave a point of entry.

Haven't messed with them for a while, but the tricky upper bolt for that bracket is doable. If I recall correctly, you remove all the others and remove the board from the bracket, then rotate the bracket to create access.
