FYI: FZJ80 40th Anv. in North. LA w/lockers
I just had a mechanic look at a Sage 40th in North LA for 10,000 OBO very motivated seller from africa. Some story about needing money as he is moving back to Africa soon. Might take as low as 8,000. Only has 111,000 miles and the interior was ok.
Problems:
-CEL
-Bondo work on front driver side fender, door, near rear bumper. +other dings and chips in the bondo now.
-"lots of oil leaks" from pan and rear main
- needs brakes
-heavy black coating of exhaust tip like it was burning old real bad
-He has not smogged it or registered it for a couple years and uses dealer temp tags to drive it. Gets a new set when they expire from his buddy at a dealer.
Could be a good buy for the right person. I didn't look at the truck, just talked to the mechanic over the phone who didn't like the cruiser.
