FYI - Nate Harrison Grade Closed at Mile 7 near Palomar State Park (1 Viewer)

All, my wife just informed me that Palomar State Park (along with all other SPs) has closed due to the Covid-19 virus and they have closed the gate on Nate Harrison Grade at mile 7.

Yeah, I can confirm that. I started out yesterday morning from Ocotillo heading up to Borrego Springs, and when I came out Fish Creek at Ocotillo Wells, a park ranger pulled up saying that everything is closed and they're even starting to close some BLM

SO just drove up the grade.... no gates but barracks at mile 8. There was a ranger sitting there once we got there.

makes no sense, beaches are opening up, but state parks, where social distancing isnt really an issue are not?
