Apparently it has been in effect for a few months but you are not notified until your subscription is about to renew.

I think that includes the Outside+ membership which gives you access to Outside magazine, a host of other magazines, and other web resources. I have had it for a few years and like it a lot.

It does not, that is $79.99. This is just for access to Gaia premium. I've been using Gaia for about 10 years and am currently trying to find a replacement.
