Both are roughly the same focal point on the bench and vice. Friggin AMAZING the difference wear and tear makes!

No kidding. My vice and bench don't look anything like they did back when I bought them. I look at it as a badge of honor to have a bench that's been used. Means I have something to show for all my time I've spent standing over the stupid thing.
