I changed the brakes out in the 80 last weekend, rebuilt the knuckles and upgraded to the 100 series pads. I Also changed out the old fluid and migrated to Valvoline synthetic. After doing a thorough bleed at all four corners, I'm getting a little feedback when the
brakes are applied, most notably when slowing for a stop sign. It's acting as if the ABS is kicking in. Best I can describe it is as a fluttering. The feedback is more pronounced when the system is cold, like during the first few minutes of drive time.
I've not seen any posts with a similar issue, but I'm hoping the vast knowledge base here can offer some advise.

Let me know what, if any, additional details are needed so I can root this problem out.

Thanks,
Justin

Did you bleed the LSPV?

Greetings Justin - and Welcome !

>> Best I can describe it is as a fluttering.

- Did you have any "fluttering before"?

- Were the rotors checked for run out? (or were they turned?)

- The 100 series pads have a larger footprint than the 80 pads. So, if the rotors were not new, or turned, the new pads are not going to be exactly flat against the rotor across their entire surface area...

Cheers, R -

Front rotors are new.

Beo. hit the nail on the head, I did not bleed the LSPV. I'll do it right this time and let you know the outcome.

Thanks for gettin' me back on the road.

mmmmmmmm... I have the same feel on my 96 LC here in the UK where is the lsvp and whats the best way to bleed it

It's on the rear axle; there's a bleed valve on it, just like on the caliper. Just follow the brake lines.
