I didn't want to pollute the business thread, but I wanted you to see these special doors we completed today
Refinished stained to the natural color (they were faded) and olied

thanks

I always like the stained natural look in most situations. I did my front door as well and had to take layers of paint off...looks like a different door!

nice work - looks awesome

Sweet! Looks like mesquite.
You are correct sir.
The owner was completely blown away at the results. That keeps me coming back the next day. It can be hard work
These doors were refinished a year ago by a guy that took them away for 1 week. He stained them a dark brown and polyed them. My Client was pissed and fired him before he could even do the frame.
6 hours we stripped, sanded , stained to natural and oiled doors and frame.
It pays to have a system and know what you are doing.
thanks
Don

I need to take a pic of the exterior of our kitchen door (knoty alder) which I finished with Helsmen poly. It's starting to get flakey with the western exposure and could use an idea on the best options...

Since it's only down for a good part of the day . I put plastic up in the doorway to keep critters and dust out.
You know I would do it for ya without worrying about the money thing . I just need a few bucks for materials. After all us CSC peeps gotta stick together.
