I wanted to take the truck off-road so bad yesterday... I loaded up the kids and we crawled through woods and thick brambles to a part of our property we'd never been to. We found a huge beaver dam and some deer trails and about a ton of mussel shells alongside the creek. Had a great time for a rainy day...

One thing I found is that my Cooper ST-Maxx's are useless in mud. On the return trip I couldn't clamber up a slight incline to get back onto the driveway. Fortunately, I was able to go around it and crawled straight up a rock retainer wall that no property owner in their right mind would try to drive over... :hillbilly:

Here she is nice and muddy.

I'd say a good five or six feet... it's not a solid vertical wall but a steep hill of riprap that slopes down from the driveway to the floor of the woods.

Actually, I guess it's taller since it's higher then the roof of the truck when parked at the bottom. I dunno but it was fun going up it.

After about a half dozen attempts to get through the mud I looked over at the rock wall and said, "hey kids, I have an idea". My 6yo said, "Yeah, your idea is to kill us all."

That's usually my wife's response when I have an idea!
