Like...The rear receiver/recovery point
The color
Can't see the hitch?!
Popular tub shape

Dislike....The tail lights...nothing protecting them
The fenders...how is that custom? Doesn't even cover the wheels?
No brakes?
No rear bumper/tailgate/tub support

Not many details offered so I can only do a visual...but wish you much luck in your business endeavors.

We are in Fort Worth TX. We are looking at a base price of $2750.00.

The hitch is recessed in the frame and we are working on a tubular fender to match the tube jeep fenders plus with the tires wider than the fenders you can rub trees etc. without damaging the fenders or tub. Ya we are still looking for the best way for the lights. For additional pics you can go to Outlaw Customs on facebook.

Off Road Trailer

I think it looks good! I would like to know more about it though...
What guage is the tub? same size as the 416? what hitch are you supplying? give us more info

What's the point of having fenders at all, then? If they're not going to cover the tires then they're just dead weight.
Well if you don't want the local police or highway patrol to pull you over than you have to have fenders. The weight issue is less than 2 twelve packs.

I built the tub from 14ga steel and the floor is 11 ga diamond plate. I don't know the dimensions on the 416 but I built this one at 45" x 72" inside. Right now I am just offering the 2" ball mount.

Get a vendor star.

It is customary on this site to get a vendor star. There are a lot of advantages for a business to have one on this site. To get one, send a PM to woody (the owner) and he will get you setup.

Also, the trailer looks good from a basic offering. What accessories do you plan to offer?

A nice new look at the old military-style trailer. Killer articulation.

Dislikes: The Chrysler Minivan hauling it around in the pictures.

Just jerkin' you around. This is a cruiser forum, so expect a little heckling!

The fenders aren't legal if they don't cover the tires, so as pictured, they're nothing but dead weight - they won't get anyone out of a ticket and they won't keep mud from getting flung everywhere.

Buying a vendor star is well worth the money.

Your trailer looks very nice.

For myself and my budget. With no lid, no tailgate, no front box, and no articulating hitch. I wouldn't buy it at the current price.

As it sits as a roller (including tires and wheels) I think it would sell all day long at $1500. I have no idea if that makes it worth your time or not. Its just the lense I am looking through.

At your asking price I'd like to see:

Tailgate.
Fuel/water storage or provisions for mounts
Articulating hitch
Full coverage fenders (they will keep rocks off the tow rig).

I agree with REZARF, without basic mods, it is too over priced. A M416 in very good condition is all you have there, (that is minus the brake and articulating hitch), and those go between $800-$1200. Add a tailgate, can holders and side platforms with built in fenders and a front box, I think this seems a must, at a minimum; unless your looking to just sell a simple utility trailer for hauling dirt, gravel, boxes, etc. but to be a full bore camping/off-roading trailer those above mods , again, are a must.

The lids don't do much for me, everything in the back of my trailer is either in a water-proof box or in dry bags, the lids just seem to get in the way. A rack system would be a good add on though.

I agree with everybody's opinion. Almost 3 grand for a base off road trailer with absolutely no upgrades over a stock m416 or m101. Actually I would rather have the m101 or m416 simply for the brakes and lunette. I like the start on this trailer but at the current state I wouldn't pay over a grand. I paid $1200 for my M101 CDN in excellent shape. Final analysis is: base model as shown is way way over priced for what is offered. They could be sold for the price quoted but only with the upgrades already mentioned.

so who wants to bet the OP wasn't so much farming for comments as he was pimping his new toy?

The lack of dialogue seems to indicate this.

You can't really compair the m416 or the 101 to this trailer. Its like compairing a toyota to a jeep, two totally different things. You say it should sell for $1500 as it sits but even if you find a mil spec trailer for $800 to $1200 and buy just the tires and wheels on this trailer you are already at $1600 to $2000. Oh ya, you have to change the hubs or get wheel spacers if you want matching bolt patterns. Then you only have 1/4 ton trailer while this one has a 3500# axle and springs and have the right hub for matching tires and wheels. Plus alot more so by the time you build a trailer to our specs you would see that the $2750 price is pretty good.;)
