Well, almost done fabbing up the cage. I still have a couple of seatbelt tabs to make and weld to it, but hopefully she'll get primed and painted tomorrow. Just one pic from a crappy cell camera.

MetalTech full cage. I'll let you know Jerry, but it is likely going to be the next break in the foretcasted rains. I hope to get it painted today before the rains come, since I need to do it outside in my driveway.
 
Got 1 coat of primer on today. I hadn't considered how much surface area all that tube represents. It took 45 minutes a whole "tall" can of primer for 1 friggin' coat.

Looking good ramon, did you touch base with Joe and verify color choices, I was talking with him Sunday and he had mentioned he still had a little bit of chrome paint left....
 
Joe needs to bring his :) happy ass :) over here and do some painting for me. Except I GET TO CHOOSE THE COLOR!! How about it Joe, my dang index finger has blisters from the spray can, and I still need to put 2 coats of BLACK (not chrome) on there.

Props to my wife for helping me move this thing from the garage to the driveway and back - Ole Greg can attest that it's no cakewalk.

Save your finger and get one of those snap on, trigger handles to spray with. They are cheap and will save your fingers in a big way, the best couple bucks I've spent...
 
Very sweet, Ramon you done yet, huh, huh? Let me know if you need an extra set of hands and I can swing by after work almost any evening.
 
Still waiting on weather to put a couple of coats of black Rustoleum on 'er. Thanks for the offer, but unless you just love spray painting, I don't think you'd want to help :) Of course you're always welcome to stop by to kick tires and enjoy a cold tasty.

Prolly' get 'er done Saturday. I'll post up final pics.
