As I was feeling sanctified and filled with the Holy Ghost on Sunday, I noticed my LX had 13 miles to empty, no gas light, no problem, right? As I hit the exit to get to a local gas station, I hit the gas and the LX lost power....going up a hill....hit the gas again.....lost power and died while in motion. I immediately lost all of my sanctification due to the expletives that flew from my mouth. Shouldn't I have received some sort of "low fuel" indication? I was able to safely guide the machine into a spot at the gas station without pushing, but d*amn, that could've gotten serious. So if you know what might be failing here, please drop the part# and how much did the process cost you? Thanks.

Not sure your mileage but it's possible the sending unit is failing. It's not common but I've seen one or two other similar posts as yours.

Yes you should get a low fuel light when you get down to about 4-5 gallons of fuel left. The tank holds 24.6. I once added 23.9 though I wouldn't recommend running that low.
